| Abstract: | Ο σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι να παρουσιάσει ένα βασικό εργαλείο για την επίλυση προβλημάτων βέλτιστου ελέγχου, αυτό της αρχής του Pontryagin όπως επίσης και εφαρμογές αυτού. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο της εργασίας αφού δοθούν βασικοί ορισμοί και προκαταρκτικές έννοιες της μαθηματικής θεωρίας ελέγχου, παρουσιάζεται η διατύπωση ενός προβλήματος βέλτιστου ελέγχου και στη συνέχεια η διαδικασία της απόδειξης της αρχής του Pontryagin. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο, μελετώνται μερικά προβλήματα βελτιστοποίησης που προέρχονται, κυρίως, από τον κλάδο της μηχανικής. Αφού περιγραφεί το εκάστοτε πρόβλημα μέσω ενός μοντέλου, συγκεκριμένα μέσω ενός συστήματος διαφορικών εξισώσεων στη συνέχεια, εφαρμόζεται η αρχή του Pontryagin για να βρεθούν οι αναγκαίες συνθήκες που πρέπει να ικανοποιεί ο βέλτιστος έλεγχος, ο οποίος τελικά υπολογίζεται. |
| Abstract (translated): | The present thesis is an attempt to introduce the reader to a centrepiece of optimal control theory which is Pontryagin Principle and present some of its applications. In the first chapter, we make a brief introduction to mathematical control theory and then we give the formulation of an optimal control problem and the procedure of Pontryagin's Principle proof. In the second chapter, we study some optimization problems arise in mechanics. First, we model the problem by a dynamical system, and then we apply Pontryagin Principle in order to calculate the optimal control. |
