| dc.description.abstract | Το αντικείμενο που πραγματεύεται η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία είναι η μελέτη και η ανάπτυξη μιας εφαρμογής κινητών συσκευών με χρήση της τεχνολογίας της επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, έχει ως στόχο την δημιουργία ενός υβριδικού ημερολογίου, δηλαδή την αλληλεπίδραση και την συνύπαρξη του φυσικού/πραγματικού ημερολογίου με το ψηφιακό. Στο ερευνητικό στάδιο της εργασίας, διεξήχθη έρευνα για την θέση που έχει σήμερα τόσο το ψηφιακό όσο και το φυσικό ημερολόγιο. Επίσης, έγινε αναζήτηση για το ενδιαφέρον και τα κίνητρα των ανθρώπων που αφενός, χρησιμοποιούν μόνο το ψηφιακό ή μόνο το πραγματικό ημερολόγιο, και αφετέρου, κυρίως των ανθρώπων που χρησιμοποιούν και τα δύο είδη, ώστε να κατανοηθούν οι ανάγκες τους, αφού συνιστούν τους πιθανούς χρήστες της εφαρμογής. Έτσι, ορίστηκαν, βάση κάποιας οριοθέτησης, οι τελικοί στόχοι της εφαρμογής. Θα πραγματοποιηθεί λεπτομερής παρουσίαση όλων των σταδίων υλοποίησης, από το τεχνολογικό υπόβαθρο, στην σχεδίαση και ανάπτυξη κώδικα και τέλος στην αξιολόγηση πραγματικών χρηστών που με την δοκιμή της εφαρμογής συμβάλλουν στην μετέπειτα εξέλιξή της. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present thesis investigates the research and the development of an application designed to run on a mobile device incorporating augmented reality technologies. This research aims to develop a hybrid calendar, that is to say, the interaction and the coexistence between the physical/real calendar and the digital one. Throughout the initial research part, the objective of this dissertation consists in examining the current hierarchy of preferences, not only in the physical but also in the digital calendar use. In addition to that, it explores the interest and the motivation of people who, on the one hand, are using exclusively either the digital or the phys-ical calendar, and on the other hand, mainly people who are using both at the same time, so as their need to be defined, since they would represent the potential users of this application. Thus, based on some demarcation, the final goals of the application were defined. The thesis includes a detailed presentation of all the stages of implementation, including a dis-cussion of the technological background, to the designing and development of code and finally the real user evaluation that, by testing the app, contribute to its further evolution. | |
