| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία έχει ως θέμα την παρουσίαση μιας λύσης στην πληροφόρηση των επισκεπτών ενός μουσείου, τόσο για την εμφάνιση πληροφοριών για τα εκθέματα του μουσείου, όσο και για την περιήγησή τους στον ευρύτερο χώρο του μουσείου. Δεδομένης της ευρείας χρήσης των κινητών τηλεφώνων και των δυνατοτήτων τους καθίσταται εύκολη και οικονομικά συμφέρουσα η χρήση μιας εφαρμογής (περιβάλλον Android) από τους επισκέπτες του μουσείου, καθώς θα μπορούν κατά τη διάρκεια επίσκεψης στο μουσείο, να εγκαταστήσουν την εφαρμογή στο κινητό τους και άμεσα να ξεκινήσουν την περιήγηση τους σε αυτό, χωρίς την ανάγκη ύπαρξης ξεναγού. Η χρήση της τεχνολογίας NFC, σε συνδυασμό και με άλλα αισθητήρια, προσφέρει στον επισκέπτη του μουσείου - διαμέσου της εφαρμογής - πληροφορίες για το έκθεμα που βρίσκεται μπροστά του, θέση και προσανατολισμό ως προς τους χώρους του μουσείου και ενημέρωση για τα εκθέματα που έχει ήδη επισκεφτεί. | el |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present diploma thesis deals with the presentation of a solution that informs the visitors of a museum, both for information about the exhibits of the museum and for their exploration in the wider museum area. Given the widespread use of mobile phones and their capabilities, it is easy and cost-effective for museum visitors - during their visit to a museum - to use an application (in Android environment) as the majority of them obtain a mobile phone instead of hiring a tour guide. The use of NFC technology, combined with other sensors, offers the visitors of the museum - through the application - information about the exhibits found in front of them, location and orientation of the museum premises, as well as information about the exhibits they have already visited. | el |
