| dc.description.abstract | Η εργασία αυτή έχει ως θέμα τη μελέτη της εικόνας της Κίνας και της προβολής της στην Ελλάδα, αλλά και στη Δύση. Στόχος της εργασίας είναι να μελετηθεί η δημόσια και πολιτιστική διπλωματία, καθώς και η πολιτιστική διπλωματία που ακολουθείται από την Κίνα συνολικά στη Δύση και ειδικότερα στην Ελλάδα. Είναι γνωστό ότι η Κίνα εκτός από μεγάλη δύναμη στην οικονομία, αποτελεί και μία χώρα η οποία έχει τεράστια ιστορία, εξελίσσεται συνεχώς και δεδομένης της επιρροής που ασκεί έχει σχεδιάσει πολιτικές παρουσίασης της εικόνας της στον πλανήτη συνολικά, αλλά και στη Δύση συγκεκριμένα. Για την επίτευξη των στόχων της μελέτης, η μέθοδος που θα ακολουθηθεί είναι η βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση και κυρίως η εφαρμογή της μελέτης περίπτωσης (case study) με συνεντεύξεις. Συγκεκριμένα, πραγματοποιήθηκα συνεντεύξεις με εργαζομένους σε μουσεία, ξεναγούς και ταξιδιωτικούς πράκτορες, πρόσωπα που έρχονται σε επαφή με ανθρώπους τόσο από την Κίνα όσο και από την Ελλάδα – Δύση, ακριβώς λόγω της επαγγελματικής τους ιδιότητας. | |

| dc.description.translatedabstract | The subject of this work is the study of the image of China and its promotion in Greece, but also in the West. The aim of the paper is to study the cultural diplomacy followed by China in the West as a whole and in Greece in particular. It is known that China, in addition to being a great power in the economy, is also a country that has a huge history, is constantly evolving and, given the influence it exerts, has designed policies to present its image to the planet as a whole, but also to the West in particular. To achieve the objectives of the study, the method that will be followed is the literature review and mainly the application of the case study with interviews. In particular, I conducted interviews with museum workers, tour guides and travel agents, persons who come into contact with people from both China and Greece - West, precisely because of their professional status. | |
