| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα διδακτορική διατριβή ανιχνεύεται η επίδραση που άσκησε το (ψευδο-) πλουτάρχειο σύγγραμμα Περὶ παίδων ἀγωγῆς ιδίως κατά την περίοδο της Αναγέννησης και του Διαφωτισμού. Έγινε απόπειρα συσχέτισης της (ψευδο-) πλουτάρχειας παιδαγωγικής οπτικής με τη φιλοσοφική και παιδαγωγική σκέψη του 4ου αιώνα μ.Χ., της Αναγέννησης, του Ευρωπαϊκού, αλλά και του Νεοελληνικού Διαφωτισμού. Η έρευνα έδωσε ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα σε βασικές έννοιες του Περὶ παίδων ἀγωγῆς που άσκησαν έντονη επιρροή κατά τους επόμενους αιώνες. Αυτές είναι: η επιλογή του σωστού δασκάλου, το σωστό παράδειγμα του πατέρα, η αποφυγή των κολάκων, κ.α. Η διδακτορική έρευνα επικεντρώθηκε στα έργα των λογίων του Νεοελληνικού Διαφωτισμού, ενώ στο τέλος έγινε σύγκριση του πρωτότυπου κειμένου με αποσπάσματα από τους κώδικες Xer 49 της Ιεράς Μονής Ξηροποτάμου και 0360 της Ιεράς Μονής Ιβήρων του Αγίου Όρους, οι οποίοι αποτελούν μεταγραφές του Περὶ παίδων ἀγωγῆς κατά τη διάρκεια του Νεοελληνικού Διαφωτισμού. Η μεταγραφή αυτών των αποσπασμάτων και η σύγκρισή τους με το πρωτότυπο κείμενο έριξε φως στο μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον που έτρεφαν οι Νεοέλληνες Διαφωτιστές για την συγκεκριμένη πραγματεία, αλλά και στο ρόλο που αυτή έπαιξε στη διαμόρφωση της παιδαγωγικής οπτικής τους. | el |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | In this dissertation we investigate the influence of the (pseudo-) Plutarchean treatise De liberis educandis in the writings of prominent scholars, especially during the Renaissance and Enlightenment. An attempt was made to relate the (pseudo-) Plutarchean educational theory with the philosophical and the educational thought of the 4th century A.D., the Renaissance, the European Enlightenment, as well as the Modern Greek Enlightenment. The research focused in the fundamental ideas of De liberis educandis that exerted a strong influence during subsequent centuries. Some of these ideas are: the choice of the proper educator, the right example from the father, the avoidance of flatterers, etc. The research focused on the writings of the Modern Greek Enlighteners, while in the end a comparison was made between the original Greek text of the treatise and excerpts from the manuscripts (codes) Xer 49 of the Xeropotamou Monastery and 0360 of the Iviron Monastery from the Monastic Republic of Mount Athos. These manuscripts constitute transcriptions of De liberis educandis that were composed during the period of the Modern Greek Enlightenment. The transcription of these excerpts and their comparison to the original text shed light on the great interest that Modern Greek Enlighteners had in this particular treatise, but also in the role it played in the formation of their educational theories. | el |
