| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά τις ιδέες παιδιών του νηπιαγωγείου και της πρώτης τάξης του δημοτικού σχετικά με τα φυτά. Πιο συγκεκριμένα το πρώτο ερευνητικό ερώτημα εστιάζει στο τι γνωρίζουν τα παιδιά για την εξάρτηση του φυτού από το περιβάλλον, την ανάδειξη δηλαδή των παραγόντων που θεωρούν σημαντικούς για την ανάπτυξη των φυτών. Το δεύτερο ερώτημα αφορά τη διερεύνηση της χρησιμότητας των φυτών για τον άνθρωπο. Οι συμμετέχοντες μας ήταν 60 παιδιά, 20 από κάθε ηλικία. Το εργαλείο συλλογής δεδομένων που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν οι ατομικές ημί-δομημένες συνεντεύξεις που διεξήχθησαν την περίοδο Ιανουαρίου – Φεβρουαρίου το 2019 σε τρία σχολεία, τον ιδιωτικό παιδικό σταθμός «Τα Στρουμφάκια», το 27ο Νηπιαγωγείο και το 24ο Δημοτικό σχολείο της Πάτρας. Η διάρκεια αυτών ήταν 20 με 25΄. Από την ανάλυση δεδομένων προέκυψε πως τα παιδιά έχουν μία αρχική ιδέα για τη σχέση του φυτού με το περιβάλλον. Αναγνώριζαν δηλαδή κάποιους παράγοντες που συνέβαλλαν στην ανάπτυξη αυτών, με πιο γνωστούς το νερό, τον ήλιο και το χώμα. Ωστόσο δεν μπορούμε να μιλήσουμε για μία ολοκληρωμένη γνώση καθώς παράγοντες όπως ο αέρας και το οξυγόνο δεν ήταν εύκολο να αναγνωριστούν από τα παιδιά ενώ υπήρχαν και κάποιες παρανοήσεις στη σκέψη των παιδιών όσον αφορά για παράδειγμα τα φαγώσιμα πράγματα που τους δόθηκαν. Αυτό μπορεί να οφείλεται στο ότι στη σκέψη των παιδιών επικρατεί ο άνθρωπος ως πρότυπο. Όσον αφορά το δεύτερο ερώτημα τα παιδιά φάνηκε να μην αναγνωρίζουν τα παράγωγα ενός φυτού και τη σχέση του με τον άνθρωπο, καθώς ήταν λίγα αυτά που αναγνώριζαν κάποια πράγματα αλλά και αιτιολογούσαν ορθά την απάντησή τους. | el |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present study investigates kindergarten and first grade primary school children’s ideas about plants. More specifically, the first research question focuses on what children know about the plant's dependence on the environment, namely the factors they consider important for their development. The second question is about exploring the utility of plants to humans. Our participants were 60 children, 20 of all ages. As research tool, the individual semi-structured interviews were used which conducted between January and February 2019 in three schools, the private Kindergarten “Τhe Smurfs”, the 27th Kindergarten and the 24th Primary School of Patras. Their duration was 20 to 25 minutes. The data analysis showed that children have an initial idea of the relationship between the plant and the environment. They recognized some of the factors that contributed to their development, with water, sun and soil were the most known. However, we cannot speak of complete knowledge. Factors such as air and oxygen were not easily recognized by the children and there were some misconceptions in children’s thinking about for example the food they were given. This may be due to the fact that in children's thinking, human has got an important role. Regarding the second question, children appeared to be unaware of the derivatives of a plant and its relationship to humans. They were few who recognized the derivatives of a plant and justified correctly their answer. | el |
