| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα μελέτη εξετάζεται η σχέση μεταξύ κοινωνικού άγχους και αλκοόλ σε μετέφηβους ηλικίας 18 ετών. Τέθηκαν τα εξής ερευνητικά ερωτήματα(α) Ποια τα επίπεδα εξάρτησης από το αλκοόλ στους μετέφηβους και ποια η συμπτωματολογία που εμφανίζουν; (β) Υπάρχει σχέση ανάμεσα στα συμπτώματα εξάρτησης από το αλκοόλ και τα συμπτώματα κοινωνικού άγχους; (γ) Υπάρχει σχέση ανάμεσα στα συμπτώματα εξάρτησης από το αλκοόλ και τις θετικές διαπροσωπικές συμπεριφορές που προκύπτουν ως αποτέλεσμα της κατανάλωσης (π.χ., διαπροσωπική άνεση, κοινωνικότητα, ομιλητικότητα, ελκυστικότητα, κ.λπ.); Η συλλογή δεδομένων έγινε με τη χρήση τριών ερωτηματολογίων σχετικά με την κατανάλωση αλκοόλ και το κοινωνικό άγχος από 78 άτομα ηλικίας 18 ετών. Τα δεδομένα αναλύθηκαν με την μέθοδο SPSS . Τα ευρήματα της έρευνας έδειξαν πως τα επίπεδα εξάρτησης από το αλκοόλ κυμαίνονται σε μέτριο επίπεδο στο δείγμα της παρούσας έρευνας και πως υπάρχει συσχέτιση ανάμεσα στην εξάρτηση από το αλκοόλ και τα συμπτώματα κοινωνικού άγχους. Επίσης, βρέθηκε μια στατιστικά σημαντική σχέση ανάμεσα στην εξάρτηση από το αλκοόλ και τα θετικά συμπτώματα τα οποία προκαλεί η κατανάλωση αλκοόλ( χαλάρωση, κοινωνικότητα κλπ.). Τα ευρήματα συζητούνται με βάση την υπάρχουσα βιβλιογραφία. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present study examines the relationship between social anxiety and alcohol in 18-year-old adolescents. The following research questions were examined :(a) What are the levels of alcohol dependence in adolescents and what are the symptoms they experience? (b) Is there a relationship between alcohol dependence symptoms and symptoms of social anxiety? (c) Is there a relationship between alcohol dependence symptoms and the positive interpersonal behaviors that result as a result of drinking (e.g., interpersonal comfort, sociability, talkativeness, attractiveness, etc.)? Data were collected using three questionnaires on alcohol consumption and social anxiety from 78 individuals aged 18 years. The data were analyzed with the use of SPSS . The findings of the study showed that the levels of alcohol dependence were in the moderate level in the sample of this study and that there is a correlation between alcohol dependence and symptoms of social anxiety. Also, a statistically significant relationship was found between alcohol dependence and the positive symptoms that symptoms caused by alcohol consumption (relaxation, sociability, etc.). The findings are discussed based on existing bibliography. | |
