| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της εργασίας αυτής είναι η μελέτη των ορίων δόσης των κρίσιμων οργάνων κατά την ακτινοβόληση του καρκίνου του προστάτη, σύμφωνα με ένα συγκεκριμένο πρωτόκολλο Σύμμορφής 3D Εξωτερικής Ακτινοθεραπείας. Αφορμή για την έρευνα αυτή είναι τα Διαγνωστικά Επίπεδα Αναφοράς που χρησιμοποιούνται στην Ακτινοδιαγνωστική και οι περιορισμοί δόσης που προτείνονται από το Radiation Therapy Oncology Group για συγκεκριμένες τεχνικές Ακτινοθεραπείας. Ο προστάτης ως αντικείμενο μελέτης προέκυψε από την ύπαρξη, σχεδόν σε επαφή με αυτόν, δύο όργάνων πολύ σημαντικών, της ουροδόχου κύστης και του ορθού, η ακτινοβόληση των οποίων έχει μεγάλο αντίκτυπο στη συνέχεια της ζωής των ασθενών. | el |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The purpose of this thesis is the study of dose restraints of vital organs during radiation therapy of prostate cancer, according to a specific protocol of 3-D Conformal Radiation Therapy. The causation of this research was the Diagnostic Reference Levels and the dose restraints of Radiation Therapy Oncology Group for specific radiation therapy techniques. The choice of prostate came from the existence of two very vital organs, bladder and rectum. Extend radiation of those organs may extremely affect the quality of life of the patients undergoing radiation therapy. | el |
