| dc.description.abstract | Αυτή η εργασία αναφέρεται στο πως η τεχνολογία βοηθά στην αξιολόγηση της απόδοσης ενός αθλητή. Στην αθλητική επιστήμη, η παρακολούθηση αθλητών και η ανάλυση κίνησης είναι απαραίτητα για την βελτιστοποίηση των προπονητικών προγραμμάτων όπως και στην πρόβλεψη τραυματισμών, για αυτό τα συστήματα τηλεπαρακολούθησης αθλητών είναι απαραίτητα στα αθλήματα ελίτ για διευκόλυνση της λεπτομερούς ανάλυσης. Η ανάλυση της ποιότητας κίνησης είναι απαραίτητη για την αξιολόγηση της απόδοσης των κινήσεων του αθλητή στον αθλητισμό .Οι αθλητικοί προπονητές πρέπει να γνωρίζουν πώς πραγματοποιούνται οι κινήσεις πριν κρίνουν την ποιότητα. Ανάλογα και με το άθλημα τα στατιστικά που ενδιαφέρουν τους προπονητές και το ιατρικό προσωπικό ποικίλουν όπως ο αριθμός των σπριντ και των αλμάτων η την απόσταση που κάλυψε ένας αθλητής. Στην αθλητική επιστήμη συστηματικά μοντέλα έχουν υιοθετήσει τεχνολογίες για να βοηθήσουν στην παρατήρηση αθλητικών κινήσεων. Η χρήση βιντεοκαμερών για την καταγραφή κινήσεων αθλητών των οποίων οι προπονητές και οι αθλητές μπορούν να εξετάσουν τις κινήσεις τους καρέ-καρέ ή να τις αρχειοθετήσουν για μελλοντική σύγκριση. Επιπλέον η χρήση αισθητήρων εικόνας με υψηλή ανάλυση, αδρανειακές μονάδες μέτρησης (IMU) με μεγάλη ακρίβεια ή κάμερες βάθους καθιστούν δυνατή την παροχή λεπτομερών πληροφοριών σχετικά με κινήσεις, οι οποίες δεν μπορούν να ληφθούν εύκολα από τα ανθρώπινα μάτια. Επίσης η ανίχνευση δραστηριότητας χρησιμοποιώντας μηχανική εκμάθηση καθιστούν δυνατή την αυτοματοποίηση των διαδικασιών παρατήρησης. | el |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | This research paper’s premise pertains to the way technology aids the assessment of an athlete’s performance. In sports science, the tracking of athletes and the analysis of their movements are essential for the optimization of coaching programs. Similarly, the use of technology can be used to predict the occurrence of potential injuries thus making remote monitoring a vital instrument for elite sports competitions as this enables the detailed analysis of all the aforementioned factors. The analysis of the quality of an athlete’s movement is essential in assessing their movement-related performance while coaches need to be aware of the way these movements are executed before they can judge the quality of these very same movements. Depending on the type of sport, the statistical information which might be of an interest to both the coaches and the medical staff varies. In football, for example, the number of sprints, jumps and the distance covered by the player are important pieces of information. In sports science, technologies have been adopted for systemic models that help with the monitoring of athlete’s movements. For instance, the use of video cameras for the recording of athletes’ moves allow the athletes and their coaches to examine movements in detail or to file them for future reference. In addition, the use of inertial units of measurement (IMU) sensors and deep learning cameras are enable the extraction of information that cannot be easily obtained with a naked eye. Also, the detection of activities using artificial intelligence make the automation of monitoring processes possible. | el |
