| dc.description.abstract | Η φυσικοθεραπεία στα καταστήματα κράτησης αποτελεί κρίσιμη πτυχή της βελτίωσης της ποιότητας ζωής τόσο των κρατουμένων όσο και του προσωπικού. Οι συνθήκες που επικρατούν συχνά συμβάλλουν στην επιδείνωση της σωματικής και ψυχικής υγείας, με αποτέλεσμα την αύξηση των αναγκών για θεραπευτική παρέμβαση. Η φυσικοθεραπεία μπορεί να μειώσει τα μυοσκελετικά προβλήματα, να ενισχύσει την ψυχική ευεξία και να βελτιώσει τη φυσική κατάσταση, λειτουργώντας παράλληλα ως μέσο κοινωνικής επανένταξης. Η παρούσα μελέτη επικεντρώνεται στην αναγνώριση των αναγκών για φυσικοθεραπεία στα καταστήματα κράτησης και στην εξερεύνηση των προοπτικών εφαρμογής φυσικοθεραπευτικών προγραμμάτων. Δίνεται έμφαση στη διερεύνηση των αντιλήψεων κρατουμένων, υπαλλήλων και φυλάκων σχετικά με τη σημασία και την αποτελεσματικότητα της φυσικοθεραπευτικής παρέμβασης. Η μεθοδολογία βασίζεται στη συλλογή δεδομένων μέσω ερωτηματολογίου, το οποίο απευθύνεται στις προαναφερθείσες ομάδες. Το ερωτηματολόγιο περιλαμβάνει ερωτήσεις που εξετάζουν τα είδη προβλημάτων υγείας, τη συχνότητα σωματικού πόνου και την πιθανή επίδραση της φυσικοθεραπείας στην καθημερινότητα των συμμετεχόντων. Η ανάλυση των δεδομένων θα πραγματοποιηθεί με ποσοτικές μεθόδους, παρέχοντας χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα για τις ανάγκες και τις προοπτικές εφαρμογής φυσικοθεραπείας στα καταστήματα κράτησης. | dc.description.translatedabstract | Physical therapy in detention facilities is a critical aspect of improving the quality of life of both detainees and staff. The prevailing conditions often contribute to the deterioration of physical and mental health, resulting in an increase in the needs for therapeutic intervention. Physical therapy can reduce musculoskeletal problems, enhance mental well-being and improve physical fitness, while acting as a means of social reintegration. The present study focuses on the recognition of needs for physical therapy in detention centers and the exploration of the prospects of implementing physical therapy programs. Emphasis is placed on investigating the perceptions of prisoners, employees and guards about the importance and effectiveness of physical therapy intervention. The methodology is based on the collection of data through a questionnaire, which is addressed to the aforementioned groups. The questionnaire includes questions that examine the types of health problems, the frequency of physical pain and the possible effect of physical therapy on the daily life of the participants. The analysis of the data will be carried out with quantitative methods, providing useful conclusions about the needs and prospects of applying physical therapy in detention centers.
