dc.description.abstract	Η εργασία εξετάζει τη σχέση μεταξύ της αγοράς πράσινων εταιρικών ομολόγων και της επιχειρηματικής εμπιστοσύνης στις ΗΠΑ, με μηνιαία δεδομένα από τον Μάρτιο 2016 έως τον Ιανουάριο 2026. Ως μεταβλητές χρησιμοποιούνται ο S&P Green Bond Index (SPGBI) και ο Business Confidence Index (BCI). Η ανάλυση βασίζεται σε έλεγχο αιτιότητας κατά Granger, έλεγχο συνολοκλήρωσης Johansen και εκτίμηση με GMM. Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν μονόδρομη αιτιότητα από τα πράσινα ομόλογα προς την επιχειρηματική εμπιστοσύνη, καθώς και μακροχρόνια σχέση ισορροπίας ανάμεσά τους. Η εκτίμηση GMM δείχνει στατιστικά σημαντική θετική επίδραση. Συνεπώς, η πράσινη χρηματοδότηση φαίνεται να ενισχύει την επιχειρηματική δραστηριότητα.
dc.description.translatedabstract	This thesis examines the relationship between the green corporate bond market and business confidence in the USA, using monthly data from March 2016 to January 2026. The variables are the S&P Green Bond Index (SPGBI) and the Business Confidence Index (BCI). The analysis uses Granger causality, the Johansen cointegration test and GMM estimation. The results show one-way causality from green bonds to business confidence, along with a long-run equilibrium relationship between them. The GMM estimation shows a statistically significant positive effect. Green financing therefore appears to strengthen business activity.
