| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία έχει ως αντικείμενο την πρόβλεψη της διείσδυσης των οπτικών ινών στην αγορά των τηλεπικοινωνιών συναρτήσει της ρύθμισης της χάλκινης πρόσβασης. Αρχικά γίνεται αναφορά στην ευρυζωνικότητα και τις ευρυζωνικές τεχνολογίες. Στη συνέχεια γίνεται παρουσίαση των οπτικών ινών καθώς επίσης και των μοντέλων διάχυσης, τα οποία χρησιμοποιούνται για την πρόβλεψη της υιοθέτησης μιας νέας τεχνολογίας ή προϊόντος από την αγορά με το πέρασμα του χρόνου. Τέλος γίνεται εφαρμογή των παραπάνω μοντέλων για την πρόβλεψη διείσδυσης των οπτικών ινών στην ελληνική αγορά και σχολιασμός των αποτελεσμάτων που προκύπτουν. | el |

Initially, there is a reference to broadband technologies. Then, there is a presentation of optic fibers and diffusion models, which are used to predict the adoption of a new technology or a product in the market.
