| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα εργασία, πραγματοποιείται μια εκτενής χρηματοοικονομική ανάλυση της εταιρείας Elpedison, με τη χρήση αριθμοδεικτών, με στόχο την ανάδειξη της οικονομικής της κατάστασης, της απόδοσής της και των προοπτικών της. Η ανάλυση αναπτύσσεται σε διάφορα κεφάλαια, τα οποία συνοψίζονται ως εξής: Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο εξετάζεται η σημασία της λογιστικής στις επιχειρήσεις και παρουσιάζονται οι οικονομικές καταστάσεις ως βασικό εργαλείο ανάλυσης. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο εισάγονται οι χρηματοοικονομικοί αριθμοδείκτες, παρουσιάζοντας την έννοια τους και αναλύοντας τους ανά κατηγορία, εξηγώντας τη σημασία τους και τη χρησιμότητά τους στη χρηματοοικονομική ανάλυση. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο, εξετάζεται ο τομέας της ενέργειας στην ελληνική οικονομία, με έμφαση στην εταιρεία Elpedison. Παρουσιάζονται τα βασικά οικονομικά μεγέθη του τομέα, επισημαίνοντας την επίδραση της ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας στο εμπορικό ισοζύγιο. Στη συνέχεια, πραγματοποιείται μια αναλυτική μελέτη περίπτωσης για την εταιρεία Elpedison, περιλαμβάνοντας ανάλυση της εταιρικής διακυβέρνησης, της κεφαλαιακής διάρθρωσης, καθώς και των συστημάτων εσωτερικού ελέγχου της εταιρείας. Επιπλέον, παρουσιάζεται η ανάλυση των οικονομικών καταστάσεων της Elpedison για τα έτη 2017-2021, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του υπολογισμού των αριθμοδεικτών. Τέλος, γίνεται σχολιασμός σχετικά με την οικονομική εξέλιξη της εταιρείας μετά την πανδημία του COVID-19. Στο τελικό κεφάλαιο, παρουσιάζονται τα συμπεράσματα της εργασίας, αναδεικνύοντας τα κύρια ευρήματα και τις σημαντικές πτυχές της ανάλυσης της Elpedison. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | In this work, an extensive financial analysis of the Elpedison company is carried out, using numerical indicators, with the aim of highlighting its financial situation, its performance and its prospects. The analysis is developed in several chapters, which are summarized as follows: The first chapter examines the importance of accounting in business and presents financial statements as a key analysis tool. In the second chapter, financial ratios are introduced, presenting their meaning and analyzing them by category, explaining their importance and their usefulness in financial analysis. In the fourth chapter, the energy sector in the Greek economy is examined, with an emphasis on the Elpedison company. Key economic figures for the sector are presented, highlighting the impact of electricity on the trade balance. An in-depth case study of the Elpedison company is then carried out, including an analysis of the company's corporate governance, capital structure, and internal control systems. In addition, the analysis of Elpedison's financial statements for the years 2017-2021 is presented, including the calculation of ratios. Finally, there is a commentary on the financial development of the company after the COVID-19 pandemic. In the final chapter, the conclusions of the paper are presented, highlighting the main findings and important aspects of Elpedison's analysis. | |
