| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να ερευνήσει τις αντιλήψεις των εκπαιδευόμενων δασκάλων για τους Έλληνες Εβραίους και για την εκπαίδευση του Ολοκαυτώματος. Τα άτομα που συμμετείχαν στην έρευνα είναι φοιτητές του μεταπτυχιακού προγράμματος «ΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΕΣ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗΣ» που προσφέρει το Τμήμα Επιστημών Εκπαίδευσης και Κοινωνικής Εργασίας του Πανεπιστημίου των Πατρών. Η έρευνα επικεντρώνεται στην παρουσίαση του εβραϊσμού στην Ελλάδα από τα αρχαία χρόνια έως σήμερα και στις ελληνοεβραϊκές κοινότητες. Εστιάζει επίσης, στην διαχείριση της μνήμης του Ολοκαυτώματος και της θέσης του στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία. Μέσω συνεντεύξεων η έρευνα αποσκοπεί να εντοπίσει τα στερεότυπα και τις στάσεις των φοιτητών απέναντι στο εβραϊκό στοιχείο στην Ελλάδα. Προσπαθεί να αναδείξει τις ανάγκες που προκύπτουν για περαιτέρω επιμόρφωση των εκπαιδευτικών πάνω στην συγκεκριμένη θεματική. Ακόμη, γίνεται μια αναφορά στα γεγονότα του Ολοκαυτώματος, στις διαδικασίες εξόντωσης των Εβραίων από το Τρίτο Ράιχ και μια μικρή νύξη στα σύγχρονα γεγονότα στο κράτος του Ισραήλ. Σχετικά με τα αποτελέσματα της παρούσας έρευνας φαίνεται ότι η εκπαίδευση που έλαβαν οι συμμετέχοντες-εκπαιδευτικοί για το Ολοκαύτωμα και τις ελληνοεβραϊκές κοινότητες στις Πανεπιστημιακές σχολές και στα σχολικά τους χρόνια αποδεικνύεται ελλιπής. Αποδείχτηκε ότι όλοι οι εκπαιδευτικοί έπειτα από προσωπική έρευνα απέκτησαν όσες γνώσεις έχουν για το θέμα. Και οι γνώσεις τους για τις ελληνικές εβραϊκές κοινότητες είναι αρκετά περιορισμένες. Στην συντριπτική πλειοψηφία τους δεν παρουσιάσουν αντισημιτικές αντιλήψεις και σαν μελλοντικοί εκπαιδευτικοί φαίνεται ότι όλοι τους θα συμπεριλάβουν στον σχεδιασμό τους και θα υλοποιήσουν στο σχολικό πλαίσιο εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για το Ολοκαύτωμα. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The purpose of this paper is to investigate the perceptions of teacher trainees about Greek Jews and Holocaust education. The participants of the study are students of the master’s program "EDUCATION SCIENCES" offered by the Department of Education and Social Work of the University of Patras. The research focuses on the presentation of Judaism in Greece from ancient times to the present day and on Greek Jewish communities. It also focuses on the management of the memory of the Holocaust and its place in the educational process. Through interviews, the research aims to identify students' stereotypes and attitudes towards the Jewish element in Greece. It tries to highlight the needs that arise for further training of teachers on the specific topic. Furthermore, a reference is made to the events of the Holocaust, the processes of extermination of Jews by the Third Reich and a small hint to the contemporary events in the State of Israel. About the results of the present research, it appears that the education that the participant-educators received about the Holocaust and the Greek Jewish communities in university schools and in their school years proves to be incomplete. It turned out that all teachers, after personal research, acquired as much knowledge as they had on the subject. And their knowledge of the Greek Jewish communities is quite limited. The vast majority of them do not show anti-Semitic attitudes and as future teachers it seems that all of them will include in their planning and implement in the school context educational programs about the Holocaust. | |
