| dc.description.abstract | Σε αυτή την πτυχιακή εργασία τονίζουμε την επανάσταση που έχει φέρει η τεχνολογίαστον τομέα της εκπαίδευσης, προσφέροντας πολυάριθμα οφέλη που ενισχύουν τις μαθησιακές εμπειρίες, τόσο για μαθητές όσο και για εκπαιδευτικούς. Στόχος είναι η ανάπτυξη εκπαιδευτικού υλικού που αναδεικνύει τα οφέλη της τεχνολογίας στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία, μέσω της υλοποίησης ενός εκπαιδευτικού ιστότοπου με τη χρήση της πλατφόρμας WordPress. Στην εργασία αναλύεται η σημασία της εκπαιδευτικής τεχνολογίας, οι εξελίξεις που έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί στον τομέα αυτόν και τα πλεονεκτήματα που προσφέρει η χρήση της. Επιπλέον, παρουσιάζεται η έννοια και οι δυνατότητες των Content Management Systems (CMS), με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στο WordPress, λόγω της ευελιξίας και της ευχρηστίας του.Η εργασία περιλαμβάνει ανάλυση των οφελών που προκύπτουν από την χρήση της τεχνολογίας στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία, την ιστορικότητα της ανάπτυξης των τεχνολοιών αυτών, την σημασία και χρήση των LMS (Learning Management System), την παρουσίαση της διαδικασίας επιλογής κατάλληλου domain name και web hosting, με την υλοποίηση να πραγματοποιείται τοπικά σε XAMPP. Περιγράφεται η εγκατάσταση και παραμετροποίηση του WordPress, καθώς και η ανάπτυξη εκπαιδευτικού περιεχομένου. Εξετάζονται διεξοδικά τα εργαλεία και οι επεκτάσεις (plugins) που χρησιμοποιούνται για τη δημιουργία μαθημάτων, κουίζ και τη διαχείριση της εκπαιδευτικής διαδικασίας, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στο Tutor LMS. Τέλος, γίνεται αξιολόγηση της εκπαιδευτικής πλατφόρμας, αναδεικνύοντας τη συμβολή της στη διευκόλυνση της μάθησης και στην ενίσχυση της προσβασιμότητας της εκπαίδευσης. Η εργασία καταλήγει στο συμπέρασμα ότι η τεχνολογία μπορεί να αποτελέσει σημαντικό εργαλείο για τη βελτίωση της εκπαιδευτικής εμπειρίας, ενώ η πλατφόρμα WordPress αποδεικνύεται ως μια προσιτή και ευέλικτη επιλογή για την ανάπτυξη εκπαιδευτικών λύσεων | |

The paper analyzes the importance of educational technology, the developments that have taken place in this field, and the advantages offered by its use. Additionally, it presents the concept and capabilities of Content Management Systems (CMS), with particular emphasis on WordPress, due to its flexibility and user-friendliness. The essay also includes an analysis of the benefits arising from the use of technology in the educational process, the historical development of these technologies, the importance and use of LMS (Learning Management Systems), and the presentation of the process of selecting a suitable domain name and web hosting, with the implementation being carried out locally on XAMPP.
