| dc.description.abstract | Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τα δεδομένα των τελευταίων ετών, η συνεχής αύξηση του ανθρώπινου πληθυσμού έχει φτάσει το μέγιστο, με αποτέλεσμα η παραγωγή τροφίμων, κυρίως για τα ζώα, να μην επαρκεί και παρατηρείται ότι παρατηρούνται σημαντικές ελλείψεις σε σύγκριση με εκείνες προς ανθρώπινη κατανάλωση. Προκειμένου, λοιπόν, να επιτευχθεί η γρήγορη εξέλιξη της παραγωγής, η μηδική αποτελεί ένα από τα σημαντικότερα κτηνοτροφικά φυτά, προσφέροντας όλα τα απαραίτητα θρεπτικά στοιχεία που χρειάζεται πολλά είδη παραγωγικών ζώων για την επιβίωσή του. Η παρούσα μελέτη αφορά τον τρόπο με τον οποίο συμβάλει η εφαρμογή των βιοδιεγερτών στην καλλιέργεια μηδικής για τη βελτίωση της ανάπτυξής της έπειτα από πολλά έτη. Αποτελείται από επτά κεφάλαια, τα οποία περιλαμβάνουν αναλυτικές πληροφορίες σχετικά με το φυτό (γνωστό και ως Alfalfa ή Medicago sativa L.), τον ρόλο του στην παραγωγή ζωοτροφών για τα ιπποειδή, μια γενική περιγραφή των βιοδιεγερτών, καθώς και το πειραματικό μέρος το οποίο παρουσιάζει τα αποτελέσματα της πειραματικής διαδικασίας. Στο 1ο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται γενική εισαγωγή σχετικά με την περιγραφή των ψυχανθών, της ταξινόμησής τους με βάση σε διάφορα κριτήρια, την οικονομική τους σημασία, καθώς και την εξάπλωσή τους. Στο 2ο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται το κεντρικό θέμα του κειμένου το οποίο αναφέρεται λεπτομερώς στο φυτό της μηδικής. Αρχικά, γίνεται περιγραφή της ιστορικής αναδρομής, έπειτα, των βοτανικών χαρακτηριστικών, αναλύονται τα στάδια ανάπτυξής του και των παραγόντων που τα επηρεάζουν. Έπειτα, γίνεται αναφορά στις οικολογικές απαιτήσεις, των καλλιεργητικών τεχνικών για την ορθή εγκατάσταση της καλλιέργειας, των παραγόμενων προϊόντων με έμφαση στην ποιότητά τους, καθώς και των εχθρών και ασθενειών που την προσβάλλουν συχνότερα. Στο 3ο κεφάλαιο δίνονται σχετικές πληροφορίες και ερευνητικά παραδείγματα που αφορούν τη θρεπτική αξία της μηδικής, τα οφέλη της ως σανοδοτική ζωοτροφή για τα ιπποειδή, όπως και τη χρήση της έως σήμερα. Στο 4ο κεφάλαιο αναλύεται ο ορισμός των βιοδιεγερτών, τα οφέλη της εφαρμογής τους στα φυτά, οι κατηγορίες στις οποίες διακρίνονται και το αυξανόμενο ενδιαφέρον που παρουσιάζουν στη γεωργική παραγωγή και το εμπόριο. Στο 5ο κεφάλαιο καταγράφονται τα υλικά και οι μέθοδοι, τα οποία χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για τη διεξαγωγή του πειραματικού μέρους της παρούσας πτυχιακής. Τέλος, στα 6ο και 7ο κεφάλαια παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα και η στατιστική ανάλυση των μετρήσεων από δείγματα ριζών και βλαστών, που λήφθηκαν μετά από εφαρμογή βιοδιεγερτών και ενός ζιζανιοκτόνου, καθώς και τα συμπεράσματα των εφαρμογών στην παραγωγικότητα του φυτού. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | Taking into account the data of recent years, the continuous increase in the human population has reached its maximum, resulting in food production, mainly foranimals, not being sufficient and it is observed that significant deficiencies are observed compared to those for human consumption. In order, therefore, to achieve the rapid development of production, alfalfa is one of the most important livestock plants, offering all the necessary nutrients that many species of productive animals need for their survival.This study concerns the way in which the application of biostimulants in thecultivation of alfalfa contributes to improving its growth after many years. It consists of seven chapters, which include detailed information about the plant (also known as Alfalfa or Medicago sativa L.), its role in the production of feed for equines, a general description of biostimulants, as well as the experimental part which presents the results of the experimental process.Chapter 1 presents a general introduction regarding the description of legumes, their classification based on various criteria, their economic importance, and their distribution. Chapter 2 presents the central theme of the text, which refers in detail to the alfalfa plant. Initially, a historical overview is described, then, the botanical characteristics are described, its development stages and the factors that influence them are analyzed. Then, reference is made to the ecological requirements, the cultivation techniques for the proper establishment of the crop, the products produced with emphasis on their quality, as well as the pests and diseases that most frequently attack it. Chapter 3 provides relevant information and research examples regarding the nutritional value of alfalfa, its benefits as a health food for equines, as well as its use to date. In the 4th chapter, the definition of biostimulants, the benefits of their application to plants, the categories in which they are distinguished and the growing interest they present in agricultural production and trade are analyzed. In the 5th chapter, the materials and methods used to carry out the experimental part of this thesis are recorded. Finally, in the 6th and 7th chapters, the results and the statistical analysis of the measurements from root and shoot samples, which were taken after the application of biostimulants and a herbicide, are presented, as well as the conclusions of the applications on the productivity of the plant. | |
