| dc.description.abstract | Τα Σχολεία Δεύτερης Ευκαιρίας (ΣΔΕ) αποτελούν ενδιαφέρουσα περίπτωση της εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων στην Ελλάδα και στην Ευρώπη. Οι εκπαιδευόμενοί τους είναι ενήλικοι που για διάφορους λόγους είχαν αφήσει το σχολείο και επιθυμούν αυτόβουλα να επανέλθουν στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία και να μάθουν όσα στερήθηκαν στο παρελθόν. Στην εργασία μας αναλύουμε τους στόχους και την διαδικασία μιας πειραματικής διδακτικής παρέμβασης που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο ΣΔΕ Πάτρας και που αφορούσε στην κατασκευή των πιο απλών επίπεδων γεωμετρικών σχημάτων και στην εύρεση του εμβαδού τους. | el |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | Second Chance Schools (SCS) provide an interesting case of adult education in Europe and Greece. Their students are adults who have left school for various reasons and wish to re-educate themselves. Literalism and social roles have been discussed in this case, but research is poor about the Teaching of Mathematics. In our study we analyze the aims and process of a teaching experiment at the second year of a Second Chance School in the city of Patras concerning the construction of elementary plane figures and the discovery of procedures to find their areas. The students worked in couples or small groups and gradually gained self confidence in what they were doing. | el |
