| dc.description.abstract | Το κεντρικό θέμα αυτής της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη, και οι ηθικοί προβληματισμοί και ανάγκες, που αυτή δημιουργεί. Αρχικά παρατίθεται η ιστορία της, όπου περιέχονται τα διαφορετικά στάδια ανάπτυξης της, στον ευρύτερο ερευνητικό χώρο. Ύστερα γίνεται μία ηθικολογική ανάλυση της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης από τις πρώτες στιγμές της εμφάνισης της, μέχρι σήμερα. Συγκεντρώνονται στην συνέχεια, οι αμφιβολίες που έχουν εκφραστεί, για την ικανότητα της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης να λειτουργήσει ως ηθικός πράκτορας, αλλά και για την ίδια την ηθικότητα της δημιουργίας αυτής. Παρουσιάζεται η έρευνα που έχει πραγματοποιηθεί ως τώρα καθώς και η απάντηση της επιστημονικής κοινότητας που έχει δοθεί για την αποτελεσματικότητα της. Στο τέλος εμπεριέχεται η ανάλυση μίας πλατφόρμας που έχει αναπτυχθεί στο πλαίσιο της διπλωματικής εργασίας, η οποία μπορεί να λειτουργήσει για την καταγραφή των απόψεων του κοινού, για διαφορετικά ηθικά διλήμματα τα οποία παρουσιάζονται κατά την λειτουργία ενός αυτοοδηγούμενου οχήματος, αποτελεσματικά μεγαλώνοντας το δείγμα των δεδομένων που μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν για να καθοδηγηθεί η χάραξη της μελλοντικής ηθικής πολιτικής στα αυτόνομα συστήματα, σε όλες τις μορφές τους. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The central theme of this thesis is artificial intelligence, and the ethical concerns and needs, it creates. Initially, its history is listed, which includes the different stages of its development, in the wider research area. Then there is an ethical analysis of artificial intelligence from the first moments of its appearance until today. Then, the doubts that have been expressed about the ability of artificial intelligence to function as a moral agent, but also about the very morality of this creation, are concentrated. The research that has been carried out so far as well as the response of the scientific community regarding its effectiveness are presented. At the end is included the analysis of a platform that has been developed in the context of the thesis, which can work to record the opinions of the public, for different ethical dilemmas that are presented during the operation of a self-driving vehicle, effectively increasing the sample of data that can be used to guide future ethical policy-making in autonomous systems, in all their forms. | |
