| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα εργασία έγινε μια προσπάθεια κατανόησης της στάσης των καταναλωτών του Νομού Ηρακλείου σε ενδεχόμενη προτίμησή τους στην κατανάλωση ξενικών θαλάσσιων ειδών και ειδικότερα του λεονταρόψαρου. Η πλειοψηφία των συμμετεχόντων δήλωσε ότι δεν γνωρίζει τι είναι τα ξενικά είδη, όπως υπάρχει, επίσης, άγνοια για την παρουσία του λεονταρόψαρου στις ελληνικές θάλασσες. Ωστόσο, μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό αγνοεί αν έχει αρνητικές επιπτώσεις στην ανθρώπινη υγεία, αλλά και το θαλάσσιο περιβάλλον. Αυτό έρχεται σε αντίθεση με σύγχρονη έρευνα σε πανελλήνια διάσταση, όπου οι περισσότεροι καταναλωτές ήταν ενημερωμένοι για την ύπαρξή των ξενικών ειδών αλλά και για τις αρνητικές επιδράσεις που επιφέρουν στο θαλάσσιο περιβάλλον. Από την έρευνα αποτυπώνεται η θετική στάση των στην κατανάλωση του λεονταρόψαρου μόνο υπό προϋποθέσεις όπως είναι οι περιπτώσεις κατανάλωσης λεονταρόψαρου σε άλλες χώρες, έπειτα από πρόταση του ιχθυοπώλη που τα εμπορεύεται, μέσα από πρόταση μαγειρικών εκπομπών στην τηλεόραση ή το διαδίκτυο. Τη θετική αυτή στάση την αποτυπώνουν σε μεγαλύτερο βαθμό οι νεαρότερες ηλικίες, γεγονός που υπογραμμίζει τη στόχευση της ενημέρωσης των καταναλωτών σε συγκεκριμένες ηλικιακές ομάδες. Τα σημαντικότερα κριτήρια για τον καταναλωτή στην ενδεχόμενη αγορά λεονταρόψαρου ήταν η φρεσκότητα, οι συνθήκες υγιεινής του ιχθυοπωλείου, και το εάν το είδος αυτό είναι δηλητηριώδες. Η έλλειψη πληροφόρησης σε θέματα που αφορούν τη γνώση επί των ξενικών ειδών, για τυχόν δηλητηριώδης ή τοξικές επιδράσεις στην ανθρώπινη υγεία, δημιουργούν συναισθήματα φόβου, καχυποψίας, και επιφυλακτικότητας στον Έλληνα καταναλωτή. Παρόλα αυτά η οικονομική κρίση της τελευταίας δεκαετίας σε συνδυασμό με την πολιτική χαμηλών τιμών μπορεί να επηρεάσει σημαντικά την τάση των καταναλωτών στην πλειοψηφία τους. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | The present study aims to identify the attitude of the consumers of the Prefecture of Heraklion regarding their preference for the consumption of marine invasive fish species, especially the lionfish. The majority of participants stated that they were not aware what alien species are, as there was also ignorance about the presence of lionfish in the Greek seas. A great was unaware of whether it has negative effects on human health, as well as the marine environment. This is in contrast to modern research on a pan-Hellenic basis, where most consumers were informed about the existence of alien species but also about the negative effects they bring to the marine environment. The research showed a positive attitude towards the consumption of lionfish only under conditions such as the cases of eating lionfish in other countries, after a suggestion from the fishmonger who markets them, through a suggestion of cooking shows on TV or the internet. This positive attitude is reflected to a greater extent by the younger ages, which underlines the targeting of consumer information to specific age groups. The most important criteria for the consumer in the eventual purchase of lionfish were freshness, the hygienic conditions of the fish shop, and whether this species is poisonous. The lack of information on matters concerning the knowledge of foreign species, for any poisonous or toxic effects on human health, create feelings of fear, suspicion, and wariness in the Greek consumer. Nevertheless, the economic crisis of the last decade combined with the policy of low prices can significantly affect the tendency of the majority of consumers.
