This study delves into the multifaceted role of school leadership as a factor in enhancing teachers' professional development and shaping the educational climate in primary education. Its primary purpose was to evaluate how leadership practices influence teachers' willingness to engage in continuous learning and how these interactions manifest themselves in the quality of daily communication and collaboration within the school unit.To achieve the research objectives, a quantitative methodology was applied, using a structured questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 108 teachers and school administrators. Data analysis was performed using SPSS statistical software and included the investigation of reliability indices (Cronbach's Alpha), descriptive statistics, comparative tests (t-test and ANOVA), and the calculation of Pearson correlation coefficients. The study findings showed a strong positive correlation between effective leadership and teachers' professional development (r = .539, p < .001), as well as between leadership and the educational climate (r = .504, p < .001) However, the research revealed significant statistical differences in the perceptions of participants, varying according to their job status. In particular, administrative staff rated the educational climate as extremely favorable (M = 4.08), in contrast to teachers, who expressed a more reserved opinion (M = 3.42).The findings of the study demonstrated a strong positive correlation between effective leadership and teachers’ professional development (r = .539, p < .001), as well as between leadership and educational climate (r = .504, p < .001). However, the research revealed significant statistical differences in the perceptions of the participants, differentiated according to their working status. In particular, administrators evaluate the educational climate as extremely favorable (M = 4.08), in contrast to teachers, who express a more restrained view (M = 3.42)The final conclusions emphasize the urgent need for a transformative leadership role for the principal, who must take on the role of mentor and catalyst for the learning process. This paper concludes with recommendations to the Ministry of Education for the systematic training of executives in communication and human capital management issues, with the aim of bridging the perception gap between administrative leadership and teaching staff and creating authentic learning communities.
