| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά τη χρήση και τη δημιουργία των ψηφιακών βιβλίων στην προσχολική εκπαίδευση, με στόχο την κατανόηση του ρόλου τους στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία. Ειδικότερα, εξετάζεται τι προσφέρουν τα ψηφιακά βιβλία στη σχολική τάξη και πώς μπορούν να υποστηρίξουν τη μάθηση, να ενισχύσουν τη συμμετοχή των μαθητών, να προάγουν τη δημιουργικότητα και να καλλιεργήσουν τη συνεργασία. Παράλληλα, αναλύονται οι ανάγκες της σύγχρονης εκπαίδευσης που οδήγησαν στη δημιουργία και την υιοθέτησή τους, καθώς και η σύνδεσή τους με τις απαιτήσεις της εκπαιδευτικής τεχνολογίας. Στη συνέχεια, διερευνάται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο τα ψηφιακά βιβλία εντάσσονται στο Αναλυτικό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών του νηπιαγωγείου και ο βαθμός στον οποίο συμβάλλουν στην επίτευξη των μαθησιακών στόχων, με έμφαση στη σημασία της δημιουργίας τους από τους/τις εκπαιδευτικούς, είτε σε συν-δημιουργία με τα παιδιά είτε αυτόνομα. Τέλος, εξετάζονται οι προκλήσεις και οι δυσκολίες που αντιμετωπίζουν οι νηπιαγωγοί κατά την ενσωμάτωσή τους στη διδακτική πράξη, τόσο σε τεχνικό όσο και σε παιδαγωγικό και οργανωτικό επίπεδο. Η έρευνα υλοποιείται με ποιοτική μεθοδολογία, μέσω δεκατριών ημιδομημένων συνεντεύξεων με εκπαιδευτικούς προσχολικής εκπαίδευσης. Η ανάλυση των δεδομένων αναδεικνύει την εκπαιδευτική αξία των ψηφιακών βιβλίων, υπογραμμίζοντας τις δυνατότητές τους για την ενίσχυση της μάθησης, αλλά και τους περιορισμούς που σχετίζονται με την τεχνολογική υποδομή και την επιμόρφωση των εκπαιδευτικών. Τα αποτελέσματα προσφέρουν μια ολοκληρωμένη εικόνα για τη χρήση και τη δημιουργία των ψηφιακών βιβλίων στο νηπιαγωγείο, ενώ παρέχονται προτάσεις για την αποτελεσματικότερη αξιοποίησή τους. | |
| dc.description.translatedabstract | This study explores the use and creation of digital books in early childhood education, aiming to understand their role in the educational process. More specifically, it examines what digital books offer in the classroom and how they can support learning, enhance student participation, promote creativity, and foster collaboration. At the same time, the study analyzes the needs of contemporary education that have led to their development and adoption, as well as their connection with the demands of educational technology. Furthermore, the study investigates how digital books are integrated into the kindergarten curriculum and the extent to which they contribute to the achievement of learning objectives, with particular emphasis on the importance of their creation by teachers, either in co-creation with children or independently. Finally, the challenges and difficulties faced by kindergarten teachers in integrating digital books into teaching practice are examined, at technical, pedagogical, and organizational levels. The research is conducted using a qualitative methodology, through thirteen semi-structured interviews with early childhood education teachers. The analysis of the data highlights the educational value of digital books, emphasizing their potential to enhance learning, as well as the limitations related to technological infrastructure and teacher professional development. The findings provide a comprehensive overview of the use and creation of digital books in kindergarten and offer recommendations for their more effective implementation. | |
